ALPACA MEET & MINGLE EXPERIENCE

Perfect for families with young children, this experience offers a wonderful chance to get up close and personal with our adorable alpacas and provides a great opportunity for hands-on interaction with them in their natural home.

Following a short safety briefing, you'll meet our boys and girls, discover fascinating facts about them, and perhaps even have the chance to hand-feed these charming creatures. 

Be sure to bring your camera for ample photo opportunities!

Depending on your visit's timing, you might even meet this year's adorable baby alpacas (known as cria)! We're expecting nine new arrivals from late May through early August.

Meeting baby alpacas is an adorable and unforgettable experience - we may be biased but we think they are some of the cutest creatures on the planet! 

Here are some tips for making the most of your Meet and Mingle experience:

• Dress practically and appropriately for the weather and outdoor conditions. The paddocks can get wet and muddy so please ensure you have suitable closed-toe footwear that you don't mind getting dirty - wellies would be the best option.  

• Be gentle and patient around the alpacas. They may not come to you right away, but they'll eventually warm up to you.

• Speak softly and avoid loud noises and sudden movements, they're sensitive creatures and may startle easily.

• If you bring children, make sure they understand how to behave around animals.

• Don't feed the alpacas anything other than what the tour guide gives you.
